I got a pair of these for a closed-back 2x12 since I already have a set in my open-back cab. They really are wonderful sounding speakers. The 8 ohm version has a smoother sound and run in series is a great way to go in a 2x12. No harshness or extraneous noise, just great tone. I still prefer these lower wattage speakers to any of the higher wattage choices; more natural, vintage sounding. Excellent service from LSP and fast shipping.
